Pepe Dayaw is a storytelling artist, fashion maker, and author with over two decades of trans-migratory practice spanning dance theatre, cooking as performance, costume, scenography, music production, and movement research.

From 2003 to 2010, he was an artist-in-residence and  researcher with Kaloob Philippine Music and Dance Ministry, creating theatre rooted in the fusion of indigenous and colonial traditions in the Philippines.

Based in Europe since 2010, Dayaw develops interdisciplinary projects that blur boundaries between art and daily life. In 2013, he created Nowhere Kitchen, a performing alter ego and itinerant cooking practice centred on the philosophy of leftovers, traveling across four continents. From 2017 to 2022, he hosted Sari-Sari, a collective art salon engaging communities through rituals and gatherings exploring creative action and ecology.

As a self-taught textile artist and couturier, he reinterprets contemporary forms through a migrant lens, honouring his tropical island heritage.
